The Advanced level is a modular programme - students can study year by year and do not need to commit to four consecutive years. For the 2026/27 academic year, students study two specialist modules: Hadith Studies and Uṣūl al-Fiqh (Principles of Legal Theory), running from September 2026 to June 2027 under Course Convenors Shaykh Eesa Abu Abdullah and Shaykh Abdulwahid Stephenson. A certificate is awarded per module completed, with a full programme certificate awarded on completion of the whole pathway. Sessions run on Sundays from 4:00pm to 8:30pm. In the 2025/26 academic year the programme completed two modules - ʿUlūm al-Qurʾān and Fiqh according to Dalīl al-Ṭālib (Hanbali Madhhab) - which are listed under the Curriculum tab for reference and are not open for enrolment.
